GOLDLINE BOWFISHING
Facebook connection privacy
Last updated September 23, 2026.
What this connection does
When an authorized staff member connects Goldline’s Facebook Page, the website receives permission to identify Pages they manage and read Goldline’s Page posts. It uses those posts to display recent updates with links to Facebook. It does not request permission to publish posts, read private messages, or access advertising accounts. Facebook may include basic profile information as part of sign-in; the website does not store that profile information.
What is stored
The website stores the Goldline Page name and ID, an encrypted Page access token, connection and update times, the connecting staff email, and excerpts and IDs of up to six recent Page posts. Temporary sign-in records expire after ten minutes and are removed on use or the next connection attempt. The Facebook password and personal User access token are not stored. Cloudflare provides the website hosting and database.
Removing the connection and data
In Staff Login, open Facebook and choose “Disconnect from website.” This deletes the stored Page access token, synced post cache, and temporary connection records. A staff audit entry records that the connection was removed. Featured public posts that were selected separately may still be displayed as Facebook embeds. To remove those featured posts or request other Facebook-related data deletion, email [email protected] with the subject “Facebook data deletion.” The Page owner will coordinate removal of those website records.
You may also remove the app’s permission in your Facebook account’s Business Integrations settings. This website does not control Facebook’s own retention policies.
Public embedded posts
When a featured post scrolls into view, it may load directly from Facebook. Facebook receives your browser request and may use cookies according to its own settings and privacy policy. You can use the direct post link if your browser blocks an embed.
